Project Droid Science No Fair! by Nancy Krulik and Amanda Burwasser, Illustrated by Mike Moran

This book is about a boy named Logan, his mother is  a scientist. She makes a robot that looks just like a boy!  She programs him to act, and talk like a boy. She names him Java. Logan's mother wants Logan to take Java to school. Logan takes him to school and tells the other children that Java is his cousin.  Java is very smart and stronger than the other children in the class, but he doesn't always understand just exactly what people are saying. The teacher told Java to take a seat and Java "picks up" a chair.  Logan said "I got butterflies in my stomach" Java Picks up Logan by the feet and shakes him upside down to get the butterflies out!!!  Logan said "I got cold feet" and Java puts a blanket on Logan's feet to warm them up. Anytime someone says something that sounds like a problem Java will say "I can do it!" and the trouble begins! Logan's class was having a Science Fair, and the class had to each come up with a science project. Logan wanted Java to help him with his project but Java helped two other children instead.  What a disaster!!!

This book is written for ages 7-9.  The book is exciting and you will want to keep turning the pages to see what's next.   At the end of the book is a "REAL" science project with complete directions for an adult and child to do together.  This book was nicely written, very entertaining, and the illustrations are nicely drawn.  I received this book free of charge and no monies were exchanged.
